Recently a UK-based domain registration service provider called “Domain Registry of America” has sent out subscription offers for already reserved .com-domains.

If you received one of these letters you can safely ignore them. It says: “You must renew your domain name to retain exclusive rights[…]”. This is an assumption. Domain subscriptions are renewed annually per default with most registration service providers.

Needless to say that the price of 26€ for an annual subscription is too expensive. Everything above 20€ (incl. VAT) is definitely far too expensive for .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info top level domains.

Do you like e-mails mith attachments? Most of the time you receive the same content again and again. But this one is very cute! I like it, because I didn’t know which part of my chocolate easter rabbit I should eat first.

Yesterday we (Nina and me) made our first experience with cooking pancakes. Kids, you can try this at home!

Basic ingredients:

• Eggs
• Flour
• Milk
• Salt

Put together flour and milk, add eggs, put in a breeze of salt - et voila - pour the whole thing into a hot pan - the rest is rather easy.
The most interesting part is to fill the pancake with stuff. I tried mushrooms, asparagus and hard cheese for one and different kinds of spread for the other ones. Tasty!

Many companies try to reach customers using slogans like “you can”, “do it” or “be different” - mainly for inspiring people to buy their products. Despite the fact that these phrases are invented by thoughtful market analysts aiming for better sales figures one can learn from the meaning that lies directly behind these words. Finally! I did it!
